The highly anticipated launch party held at Edition Richmond was kicked off by a live photoshoot for the collection's lookbook. Alongside the pieces from the Clocks & Colours collection, the event featured a photo exhibit from Toronto photographer Mike Berube and a clocks exhibit from well-known Toronto-based industrial designer Ian Milne. DJs Cosella and Webster provided the night's music, and the entire night was captured by an innovative 360 degree camera.
"Vitaly Design has always been about the versatility of fashion - since the beginning, the goal has been to create pieces that are androgynous and adaptable," said Shane Foran, founder and designer. "For the Clocks & Colours launch event, we wanted to bring together a sample of Toronto's diverse style to showcase and capture the flexibility of the collection, as well as the people who wear it."
The event's 200 guests, hailed from Toronto's fashion and lifestyle press, buyers from boutiques and stores, and the local arts scene. Sponsors of the evening included Curated Properties, Sapporo, Southbrook Winery, Monster Canada, and Motion Tour 360.
'Clocks & Colours' is the 2013 collection from Vitaly Design, consisting of single and two-finger crafted from industrial-grade ceramic and sophisticated materials.
