Free Holiday Events Coming the the MarketPlace at Factoria

Bellevue WA, Nov. 12, 2012—Bellevue’s Market Place at Factoria will host two big holiday events in the coming weeks.

“Picture Yourself With Santa,” a celebration of Santa’s arrival at the MarketPlace, features WARM 106.9 Radio on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 1-3 pm.

Radio Disney’s “Festival of Giving” promises to draw a large crowd of young families in its second annual day, set for Saturday, Dec. 1, from noon-4 pm.

WARM 106.9 will play music, host games and give away some great prizes for the Santa event, including free Santa photo packages. The mall’s Santa Photo stage opens Nov. 23 and continues through Dec. 24.

“Festival of Giving,” which drew hundreds of visitors in 2011, promises to be bigger and better than ever, with hands-on activities (holiday cookie and decorations, letters to Santa and more), music, games and great prizes. Families are encouraged to bring new gifts for kids and pets that will go to local non-profit agencies.

Holiday musical performances start Nov. 23 with the Dickens Carolers, who will make several appearances through Christmas. The Chip Erickson Jazz Trio, Leslie McMichael Harp Ensemble and the mall’s own piano players will keep the Bellevue shopping center in tune with the holidays.
