Audiences’ generosity will help ensure the Youth Leadership Academy of Knoxville continue to provide Knoxville area youth, local artists and professionals a platform to garner visibility and showcase their talent, live, in front of audiences across Knoxville and the East Tennessee Region. About Ballroom Dance Champions, Sam Gordon and Tamsyn Devilliers
Sam Gordon and Tamsyn Devilliers are a nationally renowned, competitive ballroom dance couple. Both dancers bring a combined total of over forty years dance experience with nearly ten years together as a competitive dance partners onto the dance floor. Tremendously talented, ever elegant and sometimes spicy, these award-winning, ballroom dancers were crowned champions three times over in the highly competitive Triple Crown American Ballroom Championship series in 2006, 2007 and 2008. While national champions, both Sam and Tamsyn continue to have deep, local roots in Knoxville. Sam Gordon is the owner of Go Dance Ballroom Studio, a full service studio that provides ballroom dance lessons. Tamsyn Devilliers is a former resident of Knoxville. Currently residing in Marietta, GA, Tamsyn remains an Adjunct Coach at Go Dance and has numerous family members living in Knoxville.
