Long & Foster Pledges Matching Donations For Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- CHANTILLY, Va. – In the wake of the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, The Long & Foster® Companies, Inc. – which includes Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independently held residential real estate company in the United States – today announced a partnership with the American Red Cross to offer a company-wide donation matching program of up to $25,000 to support ongoing needs caused by the storm.

Donations will augment the American Red Cross’ ongoing hurricane relief operations, which are providing food, water, shelter, supplies, and comfort to those who continue to be affected in the aftermath of the storm. Areas particularly hard-hit span the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, including portions of New Jersey and Pennsylvania where Long & Foster does business.
