Document Automation for SharePoint now with Smart Templates that Auto-Calculate, Sort and Connect

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Qorus Software, provider of document automation solutions for Microsoft Office and SharePoint, today launched the latest release of Qorus DocGeneration, document automation platform for SharePoint, at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas, USA. The Microsoft SharePoint Conference is the largest and most comprehensive event dedicated exclusively to Microsoft SharePoint and supporting technologies.

The company’s flagship product, Qorus DocGeneration, enables organizations to access document automation functionality natively in SharePoint and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to design smart templates that dynamically merge with live data stored in SharePoint lists, CRM systems and virtually any enterprise system.

The latest release incorporates features that provide greater support for the generation of complex documents while making the design and development process simpler and more efficient. Major enhancements in this latest release include calculated tags and easily configurable sorting and filtering to support the addition of dynamically generated tables, as well as full support for SharePoint Business Connectivity Services.

From a development perspective, our support now of SharePoint Connectivity Services means developers are able to re-use what’s already there in terms of links to data sources being pulled via SharePoint lists, instead of relying on web services to establish a direct link to those data sources,” concludes Meiring.
