Kennybrook Village residents were able to get into the Halloween spirit. Residents had fun decorating pumpkins, laughing at a friendly costume competition and topping off the fun day by inviting children to trick or treat.
The fall festivities continue into November. A vendor show with 12 booths will be set up at Kennybrook Village on November 9th. The residents will have a variety of items to choose from as they shop.
A Veteran’s Day soup supper will warm tummies and hearts as we recognize the many Veterans’s who live here. The Grimes VFW has been invited to attend this event.
Friday, November 16th residents and their families will enjoy an early Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the fixings. There will be two meal time options. Hor’dourves and refreshments will be served in the lobby prior to dinner.
Kennybrook Village is partnering with Mrs. Washington’s 2nd grade class at Dallas Center Grimes Elementary School this month. Students are learning how to write letters. The residents are excited to correspond with the class.
We are always thankful for the support and kindness of others.
