FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 10, 2012 - Rich Little is coming to Austin, Texas on November 16th, 2012

The Master of Mimic. The Man of A Thousand Voices. Rich Little is one of the most beloved entertainers of our time. In this hilarious and touching performance Little pays tribute to one of the most beloved screen actors of all time, Jimmy Stewart. The master of over 200 voices, Little honors his close friend through stories and "interactions" with 24 other characters, including John Wayne, Dean Martin, Johnny Carson and hundreds of other impressions that have kept audiences entertained for years.

Little has starred in various HBO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HBO) specials including the 1978 one-man show, Rich Little's Christmas Carol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rich_Little%27s_Christmas_Carol). He has also appeared in several movies and released nine albums. When David Niven (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Niven) proved too ill for his voice to be used in his appearances in Trail of the Pink Panther (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trail_of_the_Pink_Panther) (1982) and Curse of the Pink Panther (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_the_Pink_Panther) (1983), Little provided the overdub. (Ironically, Little provided the voice for the Pink Panther cartoon character in two experimental 1965 cartoons called Sink Pink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sink_Pink) and Pink Ice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Ice).) He rendered similar assistance for the 1991 TV special Christmas at the Movies by providing an uncredited dub for actor/dancer Gene Kelly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gene_Kelly) who had lost his voice.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rich_Little#cite_note-2) As a native Canadian, he also lent his voice to the narration of two specials which were the forerunners for the animated series The Raccoons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Raccoons): The Christmas Raccoons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Christmas_Raccoons) and The Raccoons on Ice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Raccoons_on_Ice).[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rich_Little#cite_note-3)
