Painting Exhibition in Jammu Kashmir

Nov. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Rana inaugurates painting exhibition

Political Advisor to Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana today inaugurated a painting exhibition at ongoing Festivals Mega Show at Kala Kendra.

The exhibition was organized by the students of Sainik School Nagrota in which 72 paintings were put on display.

Mr. Rana appreciated the students for their paintings and asked them to pursue with this creative endeavour in future.

Earlier, Mr. Rana was received by Principal Sainik School Nagrota, Group Captain Ajay Kumar, Director Information Zaffar Ahmed and Joint Director Information Jammu Soujanya Sharma.

The objective of holding this multipurpose event is to showcase the State's rich composite culture. The mega show involves screening of Dogri movies, photo exhibition, cultural programmes, painting camps (graphics), photo exhibition by photo journalists, departmental stalls, joy rides, societies stalls, home appliances, local traders stall besides healthcare products and children book fair.

Book stall, health care products, electric gadgets, picnic tables sets, herbal products, melamine crockery, and handicraft stalls of private and Government organizations are getting good response from the visitors.
