Nov. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- The JomJalan Inc has launched its new Wordpress-based local website in Bahasa Melayu, at http://www.jomjalan.com.my .

The newly redesigned site, translated, edited created by the JomJalan’s in-house digital team, embodies the company’s forward–thinking vision and commitment to the growing needs of its local travelers.

"JomJalan has always provided an unparalleled hotel guide, and this level of service and engagement extends into our online presence,” says Iskandar Suhaimi, executive vice president marketing, JomJalan Inc. “The new Malay language website anchors our already strong digital presence online, in social media and with the various races we facilitate.”

Among the features on the JomJalan.com.my homepage, "Makan-Makan" provides images and information on the Kuala Lumpur streets. It can take visitors quickly to the restaurant or venues they're looking for, but also shows which restaurants are established by local celebrities.

Like the English based website, the local JomJalan also showcases city attractions and hotels but is now focused more towards the conservative Asian and Muslim market.

“When we started the English based site for overseas visitors, we have planned the expansion of the site to cater the needs of the local Malay based market. We are glad to unveil what we have been doing under the radar for the past few months. We realise that people today are in a hurry to get information, and we have tried to make it as quick and easy as possible for prospective passengers to find the details they need”.

The company is seeking feedback on the new website. As Iskandar Suhaimi said, “We realise that it is relatively different from the international website, and we would like people to let us know what they like and dislike about the website. With anything new there are always changes which can be made to make it even better, so please let us know what you think”.

“Even if you have used our old website, I would urge people to have a look at the new one,” Iskandar added.
