The seller, Maya-Systems Inc., based in Montreal, Quebec, initially requested Tangible IP’s assistance with monetizing one of its patent portfolios. The sale resulted in a multi-million dollar transaction. The sold portfolio consisted of 18 properties — a fraction of Maya-System Inc.’s total patent assets.
