PV Bicycle Center and Specialized Bicycles are joining up to offer you the amazing chance to take an extended test ride on a  wide variety of 2013 Specialized® road bikes during the PV Bicycle Center 4th anniversary Demo Event and Sale.

Test ride 2013 Specialized® Road bikes.  Try out the Venge, Tarmac SL4, Roubaix SL3, Amira, and Ruby models.

Specialized Bicycles has sent out teams of Specialized® Demo coordinators across the World to put you in the saddle of their best new products.  These coordinators will be on hand to answer any questions you have and get you all the information you need about Specialized® products.

Womens’ Product Clinic Thursday November 15th at 6 PM

The anniversary weekend kicks off with a clinic on Specialized women’s products conducted by Catherine Cooper from Specialized Bicycles. Learn how these products can enhance your cycling experience, increase enjoyment and comfort and make riding more fun. Refreshments will be served.

Ladies' Specific Bikes, Too

Test ride the best women's bikes in the industry. The Specialized® product line for women is the most complete package of bikes, components and apparel specifically engineered for the female rider. Every detail, down to the tiniest measurement, is designed to fit the female body. Specialized® prides themselves on building Designs for Women products from the ground up to completely suit her riding needs.

Steve Bowen, owner of PV Bicycle Center gives these tips for the weekend of November 17:  "Bikes will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. While the bikes will be equipped with clipless pedals, if you have something other than Shimano, please bring your own. We can swap out pedals for test rides. Please bring helmets, camelbacks, etc. with you. You will be required to have a valid credit card and a valid picture driver’s license with you, as well as sign a liability waiver in order to participate."

Thursday Nov 15 - Sunday Nov 18 - Rides, Sale Items, A Race, and Vendor Booths

There will be organized Mountain Bike Rides, Road Bike Rides, a Time Trial with prizes.  In the shop, you will find the best deals of the year, and plenty of items that will make great gifts for the Holiday Season.  There will be free samples and door prizes offered by vendors such as Athlete Action, Spy Optic, KHS, and Marc Pro, and they will be showing new products in their booths.  Here is a detailed list of times for all events.

THURSDAY NOV 15

6:00pm: Women’s product clinic.  Learn how women’s specific cycling products can enhance and improve your riding experience. Q & A, refreshments served.

FRIDAY NOV 16

10:00am: Doors open to the biggest clearance tent sale of the year. | This will be our last sale before the Holidays so time to stock up on gifts.

SATURDAY NOV 17

7:00am - 1:00pm: SPECIALIZED TEST THE BEST DEMO Ride the newest 2013 men's and women's road bike line up!          

8:00am: SHOP ROAD RIDES | Several rides will leave the shop to accommodate all types of riders. We will have a women's ride and a mixed rode. Each ride will be lead by experienced riders through the streets of PV. Learn new routes and meet fellow riders!

9:00am: PVE SWITCHBACKS TIME TRIAL  Join us and special guest Craig Hummer for our famous PV East Time Trial! You may have seen Craig Hummer as a sportscaster on Versus or his coverage along side of Bob Roll of the Tour de France. Men and women will start at 9am at the bottom of PV East. Meet at 8:45am to sign up at the parking inlet off PV South just west of PV East. Check out a map HERE (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.730431,-118.339856&n...). We will send the first rider off at 9am and then every 30 seconds after. (If you get there after 9am, please meet us at the bottom of PV East.) Winners of the time trial will be rewarded with a $50 gift certificate to the shop, and Athlete Octane.

10:00am: PRIZES, DEMOS, FREE SAMPLES | Join us back at the shop for prizes, product demos by Marc Pro, free samples from vendors such as Athelete Octane, SPY Optics and tons of clearance sales!

SUNDAY NOV 18

7:30AM: MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE  Our very own Shawn from PVBC will lead medium to advanced riders for a mountain bike ride through Del Cerro Park. Meet at the cull de sac at the top of Crenshaw at trail head of Del Cerro Park.

10:00AM - 3:00PM: SPECIALIZED TEST THE BEST DEMO TRUCK  Ride the newest 2013 men's and women's road bike line up!
