Boost for South of France Wedding Venues

However, this factor has fallen significantly. In 2008 one in five people gave this reason as why they would not marry abroad, but only 15% in 2010. Less than one in ten of those surveyed by Mintel were concerned about upsetting people after taking the decision to marry overseas.

The other area where wedding venues in France may see a boost is couples renewing their vows. The research from Mintel shows that three in ten people thought that they may marry, remarry or renew their vows at some point in the future and 37% of these would like to conduct their ceremony abroad.

As the world continues to globalise, there is no wonder that more and more couples are taking the option to marry at an overseas wedding venue.
