Since brayola’s main focus is to create relationships with their online community, the company decided that in order to achieve this goal, they would develop a Twitter contest that would produce bra-related chatter amongst their followers.
Alexis Feinberg, brayola’s Public Relations and Social Media Specialist, explains the importance of interacting with their users, “To create a new outlet for our followers through the social media channels they use the most shows them that we understand what they want.”
brayola’s strategy already includes a points system on their website where members can earn “brayola points” that eventually earns them a free bra just by using their service.
“We wanted to give our brayola community a chance to ‘skip the lines’ and win the bra they covet the most as a reward for their loyalty. At the same time, we’re able to reach a new pool of women by encouraging entrants to share contest details with their friends and family,” Feinberg explained, “We’re all about making brayola fun to use, so it’s only natural that we would create a contest that’s exciting to participate in.”
To enter the contest, participants must retweet the brayola link of their favorite bra to the company's twitter account, @brayolashop. The winner will be announced immediately after the close of the contest.
The Bra.day Friday Twitter contest will begin on Friday, November 9th, 2012, and close at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10th.
