The 2013 outlook event will take place on December 5th, 2012 at the Oregon Convention Center. The event is a who’s who of the building industry, from builders to sub-contractors and other industry vendors. The event provides building industry professionals with an economic outlook for the upcoming year. The 2013 outlook is expected to be much more optimistic than the past three events coming out of the recession and slump in the building industry. The event will focus on the industry at the national, regional levels as well as the outlook for the Portland Metro area and the status of available lots, land and permits and their effects on business.
A highly anticipated event for Portland-area builders, this year’s Forecast Breakfast will feature a panel of three respected economic experts who will provide insight on the 2013 Northwest housing market including the state of the national and regional economy, the status of lots, land and permits in the region and the effects of both on local home-building businesses.
“We are proud to, again, have the honor of sponsoring the HBA’s forecast breakfast. As a company deeply rooted in the building industry, we are looking forward to a positive 2013 forecast,” said David Hamill, Chief Executive Officer of The Parr Company.
