About the Author: “The idea for this story came to me while I was living in Wales, United Kingdom,” says author, Ellen WilkenStanley. “There was a berry tree by the front room window and it was always filled with berries for the birds. It was winter time and close to the Christmas holiday. As I looked at that berry tree I knew that there was a story there.” Ellen WilkenStanley believes children’s books need to make people laugh, think and talk with each other to solve everyday problems.
