The dynamic pair promises an intimate and delightful evening of song that blends the fondly familiar, lesser known gems, along with quirky surprises, woven together with personal stories and interesting nuggets. Their set list includes Broadway show tunes, numbers from the Great American Songbook, and other humorous gems, with songs by Frank Loesser, William Finn, Amanda McBroom, Stephen Sondheim, Christine Lavin, Charles Aznavour, Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Schwartz, and more.

Based in Omaha, Nebraska Carrick performs regularly with Opera Omaha and the Rose Theatre, one of the largest professional children’s theatres in the country. She received critical acclaim and multiple award nominations for her recent performances at The Rose as “Mother Abbess” in THE SOUND OF MUSIC and “Sour Kangaroo” in SEUSSICAL: THE MUSICAL. She’ll be seen again at The Rose in November as “Mrs. Murphy” in MADELINE’S CHRISTMAS. Carrick has also performed with the Omaha Symphony, Omaha Community Playhouse, and many other theatres across the Omaha region. She is a student of Tony Award-winning singer and actress, Betty Buckley.
Brooks is an accomplished director, music director, and arranger. Most recently he served as director and music director for ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, with the Papillion La-Vista Community Theater. Other recent projects include director of NEXT FALL with SNAP Productions and HAPPY DAYS: THE MUSICAL with the Chanticleer Theater.
Carrick and Brooks have been performing together since 2007 and are currently touring the Midwest region with several other cabaret shows, including ON MY WAY, SONGS WITH A TWIST OF LIME and LOVE NOTES. Most recently, they made their Chicago debut at Davenport’s Piano Bar & Cabaret. Both are active with theatres and arts organizations throughout the Omaha metropolitan area. The pair received the Outstanding Cabaret Award from the Omaha Theatre Arts Guild in 2008. Each has been recognized by the Theatre Arts Guild and Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards with awards and award nominations for their individual stage work.
