Nov. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- PWC Hero Cast started out as a peak inside the movie-making process. For comic and sci-fi enthusiasts, the production of a film is just as significant as the final cut. It’s not about telling another story, it’s a lifestyle, and every detail is important. Just imagine getting to see George Lucas go from pre-production to post production for Star Wars back in 1977. Wouldn’t the fan-community want to see the unabridged, unrevised story of how it all began?

Filmmaker Chip Perro thinks so, which is why he’s chronicling every step of the process for his five film superhero adventure, The Mission Park Quinology. “This is the next great comic and sci-fi franchise.” says Perro, “I’ve taken everything I love about the genre and rolled it into an epic.” Good timing, because despite the giant blockbusters released every summer, the magic from those original creators is long gone. “The biggest independent property left was Star Wars, and now it’s a Disney product.” Perro believes the world is ready for something new!

One of the most exciting steps of the pre-production process is casting. With auditions chronicled from beginning to end, this is the first time that the making of a superhero movie is a story in itself. Auditions for The Mission Park Quinology started over a year ago, and have been uploaded monthly at the PWC Hero Cast website http://www.pwcherocast.com for easy digital viewing and fan voting. Top vote-getters from each audition group moved forward to a second audition, where a group of fifty-five actors were trimmed down to ten finalists. As might be expected, the second audition was also recorded and uploaded for fan-viewing.

Now, the ten up-and-coming sci-fi acting sensations will make their appearances at the Super MegaFest in Framingham, MA on November 17th  and 18th. The actors will introduce themselves to the comic and sci-fi public, and try to woo fans into voting for them for a leading role in the five-movie project. The top two vote-getters will be cast in leading roles, with the comic and sci-fi community having a clear voice in the casting process. Chip Perro will also be in attendance to talk about the movie and answer questions. The Super MegaFest is New England’s largest multimedia fanfest, with incredible celebrity guest signings and Q & A sessions. Celebrities from Comics, TV, Movies and Rock and Roll will be in attendance, with headliners like Stan Lee and Dean Cain! The PWC Hero Cast actors, making their first personal appearances at the Super MegaFest, are looking to make their own mark in the universe of superheroes. Here are the ten names you should get to know: Ashley Bissell, Charles Edwards, Brooke Mclaine Hanson, Ken Holmes, Amber Hurley, Adam Mallett, Sarah Michelle, Ryan Paulk, Alex Pires and Thais Vieira.  See their pictures online at Perro Worldwide Comics at http://www.perroworldwide.com and meet them in person at the Super MegaFest!
