PRLog - Nov. 8, 2012 - Singapore – November 9, 2012 – Centsless, a Malaysian startup that gamifies the conventional loyalty program, made its debut in Singapore today by becoming a Silver Sponsor at the ACE Entrepreneurship Week that was held in Leisure Park Kallang. The ACE Entrepreneurship Week is a yearly event that is run in conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, an international initiative that introduces entrepreneurship to young people.
“Being a sponsor of the ACE Entrepreneurship Week was a strategic move by Centsless to make our presence known in one of our key markets. Our company helps merchants retain loyal customers by gamifying the usual shopping experience with points, badges, and really cool prizes and by being part of this event; we were able to showcase our product to potential merchants in Singapore. It paid off as we got queries from merchants about our launch date.” said Jolene, Co-Founder of Centsless.
In their bid to build a sizeable user base, Centsless is currently negotiating a partnership with MoneyTree, a company that teaches financial literacy and entrepreneurship to kids, to be a platform provider for a new MoneyTree initiative that will involve powering a network of 100 e-commerce stores that will be run in secondary schools throughout Malaysia. This partnership will allow Centsless access to the huge student population in Malaysia.
With close to 2,000 users who have signed up to be beta testers, Centsless is on course to hit the target of 10,000 users when they launch in February 2013.
“Keep an eye out for us. We’ll be launching real soon!” – Su Zhen, Co-Founder of Centsless.
