Looking for a Job in Northern New Jersey?

Nov. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- According to mybergen.com, Bergen County will be holding a job fair at BCC's Technology Building (TEC) on Friday, November 16th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

About fifty vendors who are currently hiring are expected to attend, recruiting for positions in government, healthcare, business services, manufacturing, and many other industries.

There will also be several seminars to help potential employees sharpen their interviewing, resume-writing, and management skills, and people can register for these classes ahead of time at the fair’s registration website.

There is no fee for admission or the job skills seminars.

“Many people are still having a hard time finding gainful employment,” said County Executive Donovan. “By gathering businesses from both inside Bergen County and surrounding counties, we are able to help local residents find work while helping companies fill job openings with skilled talent.”

The Bergen County Job Fair is sponsored by the Bergen County Economic Development Corporation, the Bergen County One-Stop Career Center, the Bergen Workforce Investment Board, the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Record, Jobs4Jersey.com, and the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development.
