“The end of the Mayan calendar will just come and go like any other day unless we make something happen,” says Don Miguel Ruiz, author of the best-selling book, “The Four Agreements,”
The Synthesis 2012 team is working directly with the local Mayan elders, wisdom keepers and event producers in Mexico to produce the event with the blessings of the UNESCO-recognized Mayan Cultural Organization and International Mayan Council. The message of the Mayan Wisdom Keepers will be broadcast live from the event on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 am UT, fulfilling a long-predicted Mayan prophecy.
A front row seat for the Galactic Alignment
Synthesis 2012 is a celebration to honor the closing of the old cycle and welcome the dawning of a new era of renewal, balance, and harmony. Located adjacent to the grounds of the Chichen Itza and the Pyramid of Kukulcan, one of the seven wonders of the world, Synthesis 2012 is a front row seat for this historic “galactic alignment.” This alignment of the Pyramid with the center of Milky Way Galaxy occurs once every 26,000 years, and was what the ancient Maya predicted with the 2012 end-date of their calendar. The calendar begins again on December 22.
This message for humanity will be delivered during the event by Indigenous leaders representing several traditions, including the International Mayan Council, Hunbatz Men, Maestro Mazatzin and Don Miguel Ruiz representing the Mayans, Taita Juan Agreda Chindoy of Columbia, Lama Lhanang Rinpoche of Tibet, Chief Yagbe Owololo Onilu from Haiti, Olmec Elder Wanique Shabazz, Nyame Selassie from Africa and others to be announced and broadcast in a live video stream on www.worldunity2012.com.
The special appointed “Sacred Mission” of Synthesis 2012, the Mayan elders from the International Mayan Council of six countries, including Tata Eric Gonzales and International Mayan Council, will share their “message” to the world at this critical time live at Synthesis in a steaming video broadcast from Lake Atilan, Guatamala on December 23, 2012.
“The Mayan people are re-unifying their culture and co-creating a message for humanity, a message of hope and transformation in these times of transition. This is the front-row seat of the galactic alignment," says Executive Producer Michael DiMartino.
Debra Giusti, associate producer of Synthesis 2012, is also founder of the Harmony Festival, one of the largest and longest running music and healing arts festivals in Northern California.
“After producing Harmony Festival for 33 years, I have watched the amazing evolution and development of the transformational festival movement that is deeply committed to supporting positive personal, community and global evolution,” said Giusti. “I am excited to support Synthesis 2012 in going to the next level.”
