10 Local Nonprofits Will Benefit as 10 Popular Restaurants Compete for Title of ‘Best Bite on the Ave’ Attendees are Encouraged to Donate Items to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS Overseas (Delray Beach, FL – November 7, 2012) Cathy Balestriere, general manager of Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar, today announced that the popular, Key West-style boutique hotel has added You Are Not Alone to the long list of local charities that will benefit from next week’s special 10-10-10 Win-Win-Win Birthday Party. “We are celebrating our 10th birthday by partnering with 10 popular restaurants and 10 local nonprofit organizations in a win-win-win promotion in which everyone has a good time and everybody benefits,” said Balestriere. “In addition, we are encouraging all attendees to bring a much-needed item that we can donate to our brave troops abroad through You Are Not Alone, a local group of families who have loved ones stationed overseas, many of them bravely serving in conflict areas,” she said. This celebratory event will be held on Thursday, November 15, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and will cap off this year’s series of Third Thursday Fun-Raisers at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar, which is located at 82 Gleason Street in Delray Beach, just one block south of Atlantic Avenue and one block west of the Atlantic Ocean. The 10-10-10 Win-Win-Win Birthday Party will be held throughout the hotel, around both beach-like swimming pools and the two large Tiki Huts. There is no admission charge to attend and live music will be offered throughout the evening. “Not only will 10 great local restaurants be setting-up serving tables offering a variety of tasty goodies as they compete for the exalted title of Best Bite on the Ave, each one will partner with a local nonprofit organization seeking donations and a chance to win a special $500 prize,” said Balestriere. Accumulating the Most Gold Coins Will Determine Winning Restaurant & Charity Every person who brings a donated item to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS will receive a free Gold Coin upon entering the 10-10-10 Birthday Party. In addition, every time somebody buys a drink, be it alcoholic or not, he or she will also receive a special Gold Coin. Attendees will be encouraged to drop their collected Gold Coins in their favorite restaurant/charity’ In addition, the restaurant with the most Gold Coins will be named Best Bite on the Ave and its partner charity will receive a $500 donation from Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel.
