After School Programs, A Key To Metro Atlanta Youth Success.

FAMILY SUPPORT CIRCLE, INC. will host a red carpet Gala and Awards Ceremony on Thursday November 15th 2012, at the Prestigious and Prominent 1100 Peachtree St, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30309.  Five outstanding Leaders including Ms. Janice Robinson, Director, United Way V.I.P of Metropolitan Atlanta and Mr. Mike Harden, Founder & CEO of No Longer Bound will be honored. The Mistress of Ceremony will be WXIA 11 Alive TV Anchor, Ms. Melissa Long. Special Guests include Ms. Lakisha Brooks, Miss Georgia 2012. Keynote Speaker will be Mr. Rudell Burton. Independent Singer, Songwriter & Recording Artist Sergio will perform.  

“On any given day, more than 14 million children and youth are on their own after school. Meeting the need for quality after school programs will take a commitment from private as well as the public sector, from corporations as well as philanthropies” Dr. Elna Jeantine, President and Founder of FAMILY SUPPORT CIRCLE, INC. remarked. She has also expressed appreciation to Corporate Supporters including LHUILLER FINE PROPERTIES LTD, MEGAVUE TV NETWORK, ZERIBA MEDIA and OFFICES @ 1100 PEACHTREE. Dr. Jeantine also acknowledges that added support from volunteers and corporations, makes a huge impact when it comes to finding solutions to the huge challenges organizations such as Family Support Circle face. These are the organizations that offer services to improve the socio-economic standards of communities that need it most. In her closing comments the social services founder said “An investment in after school programs is an investment in the next generation. This generation which needs innovative and exciting opportunities to learn, without being limited to the traditional school day.”

FAMILY SUPPORT CIRCLE, INC. is a 501 (c)(3), nonsectarian, Social Services National Organization currently serving the States of Georgia and Pennsylvania. Founded fifteen (15) years ago in Pennsylvania, the organization expanded to Georgia ten (10) years later. FSC has two Service Divisions; Youth Excellence Development - After school & Summer Enrichment Programs and Home Support Services - Respite care short-term and long-term support services.
