SCWOA officially drops "Security Consulting Wizards of America" from name.

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 7, 2012 - SCWOA – formerly known as the “Security Consulting Wizards of America” – has officially dropped the long version of the company name, and from now on will be known only as the SCWOA Corporation.

The reason for this move is very simple. The majority of current customers were already used to using the “acronym” exclusively to access the website and engage the company – so keeping the extended version of the name essentially created two discrete identities, which ended up creating more challenges than benefits.

This move also allows freedom to maneuver into other tech support fields outside of strictly IT security related paths. Enabling the company to freely position itself strategically as premier supplier of information technology and network support (such as Cisco and Juniper networking technologies) – as well as information and network security services.
