Home Improvement Row To Host Launch Party

(November 7, 2012) – Home Improvement Row, an organization aimed at growing and branding St. Petersburg’s 22nd Avenue as a home improvement destination, will be hosting their launch party at Mazzaro’s Italian Market on Tuesday, November 13th from 6pm to 8pm. St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster, and numerous City Officials will be in attendance to show their support.

“We are very excited to be launching Home improvement Row,” said Brian Manning, Home Improvement Row Representative and Owner of The Carpet Store. “We look forward to branding and growing 22nd Avenue as the ultimate destination for all home improvement needs throughout the entire Tampa Bay area.”

Guests will enjoy complimentary food & refreshments while acquiring information on the organization’s Habitat for Humanity involvement, previewing the new website, meeting new members, and obtaining membership information.

The event will take place at Mazzaro’s Italian Market located at 2909 22nd Avenue N in St. Petersburg. The representatives of Home Improvement Row are asking for the city’s support in increasing awareness and branding 22nd Avenue as “Home Improvement Row”.

Over the past 25 years, St. Petersburg has become an internationally recognized destination, famous for its beaches, art, and overall superior living experience. Home Improvement Row is a proposition to revamp St. Petersburg’s 22nd Avenue, and through combined efforts, advocates can bring additional traffic to the stores and increase the visibility of 22nd Avenue to reach the entire Tampa Bay area.

Home Improvement Row’s new website will serve as a general information page for the proposed project. There will be information regarding advantages, specials, benefits and features to shopping on the row. In order for this project to succeed it is important that all of 22nd Avenue work together to encourage progression.
