Doug has resided in the Dallas area for more than 20 years while Shannon grew up in Arkansas and moved to the DFW Metroplex 15 years ago. Doug received his B.A. degree from Southwest Texas State University while Shannon holds a Masters Degree in speech pathology from Baylor University. Shannon attributes her former career as a speech therapist to her good communication skills. The Smiths attend Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano and with four children, Ashley, Julia, Lauren and Mitch, they devote the majority of their spare time enjoying the children’s various activities. When time permits, Doug enjoys tennis, running and weights, while Shannon enjoys tennis and running.
