El Paso, Texas to Host KWCUSA State Championships

Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Karaoke World Championships USA has awarded a state championship to Robert Brown of El Paso, Texas. Robert is a US Army veteran, has sung karaoke for 9 years and hosted karaoke at The Silver Dollar Bar since 2010. He is also correspondent with UTEP’s Newspaper, The Prospector. He is currently working on Bachelors in Multi-Media Journalism with Minor in Economics at University of Texas El Paso.

Wendell Payne, President of KWCUSA says, “We are looking forward to working with Robert in setting up the state championships allowing his winners to advance to the 2013 South Regional. We will work together to identify five other local venues for singers to qualify for the state championship”.

KWCUSA will post the venue and dates as they are available and look forward to the addition of this third state championship for Texas. Each of the three championships will qualify winners for the 2013 South regional. Local qualifiers are starting now and Local venues can obtain license at kwcusa.net.

KWCUSA is the only organization in the United States affiliated with the Karaoke World Championship organization. KWCUSA champions exclusively represent the United States in the only international karaoke competition.
