Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ) (http://www.vljnj.org/) will host its 8th Annual "Arts & Eats for Justice Gala" on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. As VLJ's signature event, the Gala draws hundreds of notables from the area's legal, business and non-profit communities and beyond to raise funds for its comprehensive pro bono legal services. A wide range of event sponsorship opportunities are now available.
Held at the Montclair Art Museum (http://www.montclair-art.com/) in Montclair, N.J., the Gala will feature gourmet cuisine from the area's top restaurants and live jazz. Proceeds are earmarked for VLJ's extensive programming for low-income individuals, which includes free legal counsel and advice, educational seminars on various legal matters, and direct representation for at-risk individuals facing critical civil legal issues.

Sponsorship opportunities include Director's Circle at $25,000; Benefactor at $15,000; Gala Sponsor at $10,000; Award Sponsor at $5,000 and VIP Sponsor at $2,500. All event sponsors receive a certain number of tickets based on level of sponsorship, listing on event signage and VLJ's website, VIP reception admittance, an ad in the journal, and listing in all media. Opportunities to place an ad in the event's program are also available ranging from $250 to $1,000.

The Star-Ledger is serving as the general media sponsor and the New Jersey Law Journal is the legal media sponsor.

"Each year, our sponsors help us in making the Gala a night to remember," said Karen Sacks, Esq., founding executive director of VLJ. "We are thankful for their commitment to VLJ. With their continued support, we are able to aid thousands of individuals struggling with legal issues and work to ensure equal justice for all."
