Follow on Google News | ASFMRA Recognizes Long Standing MembershipThe American Society takes great pride in honoring its members for their loyalty and contributions. One of the special presentations made was to recognize individuals whose length of membership shows their true dedication to the organization.
Recognized for 40 years of ASFMRA membership were: Walter D. Armer, Jr., ARA; James A. Garrett, ARA; Gary A. Greder, AFM; Douglas A. Hall, ARA-Retired; ASFMRA was honored to announce one member who has reached an amazing 65 years of membership. Charles L. Pilmer, AFM, ARA of Ballwin, MO was presented the President’s Recognition Award. Mr. Pilmer’s daughters Betsy Pilmer and Ellen Pilmer Lappin were present to accept the award for their father. The 2012-2013 ASFMRA President, Paul J. Joerger, AFM noted “I am excited and proud to be a part of such a great organization. The 2012 Annual Meeting was one of the American Society’s best meetings yet. It was a great honor to recognize so many who have given so much to the Society and the professions we serve.” President Elect S. James Rickert, AFM, ARA added “Planning is already underway for the 2013 Annual Meeting to be held in Reno, Nevada. We are looking for another great line up of speakers, education, and networking opportunities. Mark your calendars now for November 11-15, 2013 for another great meeting.” # # # The American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) is recognized as the premier organization for rural property professionals, providing excellent education, networking opportunities, and legislative representation for its members.
