American formula pilot Pete Olson will take on 2013 season with a BELL

Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Pete Olson has extended his sponsorship arrangement with the BELL family for the 2013 Asia Formula Renault race season.

While equipped with Bell racing gear, the California native aims to earn the distinction of being the first American driver to win a professional racing series in China.

“I’m honored to be an ambassador for the Bell family and continue to represent the company through next year, especially with its high-quality racing equipment line” said Olson. “Bell outfits champions - so its just added confidence to be equipped with the top race gear in the world.”

“We’ve made huge strides this season, my first full season of Formula Renault. Next spring we will have the proper car to win the series and I have every confidence we will perform at the highest level both on the driving and technical side.”

Pete Olson has had a successful climb up the motorsports ladder from karting, motorcycle road racing, and later formula cars, where he most notably won the 2007 and 2008 Bridgestone F2000 racing series in Canada, since then competing in Formula Renault and acting as a test driver and instructor. Olson is based at the famous Zhuhai International Circuit in Zhuhai, China.
