PRLog - Nov. 6, 2012 - Lukeus Adams is a singer/songwriter who was born in Utah, and has settled in Portland, Oregon. In 2002 he released his first demo CD as he was slowly finding his way while steadily gaining a local following. Looking to broaden his visibility he recorded and released his second CD “Samples”. This CD had a clearer vision and style steering towards alternative folk music. His presentation at that time was very song centered utilizing only an acoustic or electric guitar-giving primary back up to his vocals. His vocals are unique in every account. They are raspy and weathered as if the voice was of an elder wisdom filled individual.
Lukeus has recently released his third CD titled “Communication Problems” with single “Call Me the Writer” leading the way. The song’s is about if you can write your past, then you can write your future. It is the cause and effect analogy; in order to fix the future you need to understand the past. The song is as simplistic as it is powerful. Through guitar and voice, Lukeus has the tools to deliver such a profound message. It is powerful, soulful song and sets the stage for the entire CD delivering meaningful and emotional visions through sound.
“Communication Problems” along with prior releases are available at most digital storefronts including but not limited to:
