Pro Kitchen Gear Announces 1st Annual Great Knife Sharpening Event

Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Pro Kitchen Gear announced today that they will be holding their first annual knife sharpening event that allows customers to have their kitchen cutlery picked-up from their home, sharpened off-site and returned to them the very next day.  

Just in time for the holidays, the PKG team will be out on December 15th, 2012 picking up kitchen cutlery (including scissors) between 8am – 8pm, sharpening the knives overnight and returning them on December 16th, 2012.  

For only $5 per knife – the same price to have knives sharpened at their Greenville store - it is a priceless investment to make your holiday work in the kitchen a cinch. Pick-up and delivery locations must be within 10 miles of their store, excluding New Jersey.

Founder & Owner, Dave McCormick says, "This is a convenient way for the community to have something in their kitchen for the holidays that they often overlook: a sharp knife. There are over 1 million visits to the ER every year due to lacerations or cuts on the hand or arm and we want to show people that a sharp knife is a safe knife."
