Music Mogul Russell "Block" Spencer Introduces Singer/Songwriter Kris Kelli

Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA-November 5,  2012-Music Mogul Russell “Block” Spencer is pleased to introduce singer/songwriter Kris Kelli as the newest addition to his label, Block Entertainment Worldwide.

Kris Kelli’s musical blend of edgy, hip-hop, pop and Caribbean vibes bodes well with audiences in the U.S. and beyond. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, her musical career began when she was discovered at a Kingston karaoke bar at the age of seventeen. After releasing a series of hit songs, including collaborations with Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel in her native Jamaica, she was introduced to and began to work with Block Entertainment Worldwide.

“Kris Kelli is a complete package, “says Spencer. “She has an amazing voice,  her own style and is driven to be the best. She is one to watch.”

Earlier this year, Kris was introduced to U.S. audiences when she collaborated with fellow Block Entertainment labelmate, Gorilla Zoe for “Me & U.” The song, which quickly became one of the most requested songs on Atlanta’s V-103.3 FM, pays homage to Method Man and Mary J. Blige with a sample of the hip-hop classic “All I Need.”

Now she releases her newest single “Action,” (http://soundcloud.com/bigblockesc/action) a sexy dance song that showcases her island heritage and a beautiful voice. The song is featured on her mixtape “Sell Off” hosted by DJ Kash.
