OBX Outfitters Offering Free Shipping Discount to Promote Shopping Locally

"A big part of our mission as a company is to produce wearable art for consumers with positive messages serving as a reminder of vacations, events and overall goodness in their lives," Stacy Menzies, company president, said.

"The Outer Banks is a special place, and a big, big part of that is the people who live there, including a vibrant art community," she added.

The company's Wearable Art line is debuting with "Beach Bunny" by local artist E.M. Corsa, working out of Kill Devil Hills, and Josh Davis, a Raleigh-based artist who produced the original designs "Bluegrass At the Beach" and "Find Your Happy Place ORV" which all qualify for the free shipping discount.

In addition to working with local artists in designing apparel, OBX Outfitters is engaging with local vendors to produce it.
