By: Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust has been selected as one of 10 finalists in Greentree’s GAME ON competition, and now the Wildlife Trust needs your vote to help win up to £150,000 worth of Greentree business software and services. The public voting is now open until November 23rd, and the winner will be announced on November 28th. Votes can be cast at the GAME ON website www.greentreegameon.co.uk, where voters can read the Wildlife Trust’s profile and the plans for what they’d do with a new Greentree business system. Your vote is really important to the Wildlife Trust. “Charities are under huge pressure to minimise their overheads and it is difficult for us to justify spending large amounts of our charitable funds on ‘back office’ function,” says Wildlife Trust’s Chief Executive Debbie Tann. “We employ very few administration staff, and so people employed for special skills, such as conservation, spend at least a day a week doing paperwork,” Debbie says. “A Greentree system would give them more time in the field, doing conservation work that is so vital, now and in the future. If we win we can spend more money on wildlife!” The judging panel is made up of: Maggie Philbin, Terry Forsey, Liz Jackson, Campbell Williams and Harry Mowat For more information about the Wildlife Trust, please see www.hwt.org.uk or call 01489 774400 End
