Nov. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Diploma of Screen Acting graduates from Screenwise, the renowned acting school, presented their showcases to Film and Television industry insiders at Sydney's historical Carriageworks on 24th October.

The students presented three plays, Quiet Table For Four directed by Stephen Wallace (Blood Oath), '4' directed by Aarne Neeme (Home and Away) and Love Song directed by Di Smith (Puberty Blues). They were joined by Rove Production Designer Michelle Dado who designed the overall showcase presentation.

All the directors were extremely happy with the graduates performances. "I was thrilled at the way the students rose to the occasion" Says Di Smith.  One of the students final year films was also screened at the showcase.  Contamination directed by Denise Roberts (Packed To The Rafters) is a 30 minute short which will be submitted to numerous film festivals around the world.

"Screenwise was exceptionally happy with the industry turnout, and we are already receiving calls from agents wanting to represent our upcoming stars" says Principal Director and CEO Denise Roberts, "and it's not surprising considering Screenwise was the first acting school established over twelve years ago specifically designed to offer comprehensive creative and technical screen training to actors. Not only are our graduates talented, they are completely comfortable on set and on screen, and highly skilled in all facets of production and post-production."
