In 2011, Laurie B. Allen of Pittsburgh represented LRFW during the 2011 production of BFW; and Kim Dixon of Washington, DC represented BFW during the 2012 production of LRFW.
“From the beginning of the registration process to the last model exiting the runway and everything in between, I am in selection mode to see who could be submitted and selected as “Clothing Line of The Year” by our fashion week partner, Little Rock Fashion Week,” stated Nixon.
The “Clothing Lines of The Year” for 2012 are Kelvin Haydon representing LRFW in August 2013 and Latonya Dickens representing BFW in July 2013. BFW congratulates Latonya Dickens as being recognized as the “Clothing Line of The Year” for 2012, on behalf of Baltimore.
“Being asked to submit designers for review and selection was really hard in 2012, because quite a few of the designers in BFW2012 were deserving of this acknowledgement. We are extremely excited that Latonya Dickens of LT Dickens Designs has been announced as the “Clothing Line of The Year,” stated Nixon.
Baltimore Fashion Week 2013 will run August 7, 2013 through August 11, 2013 and will be held at the DoubleTree/Hilton, located at 1726 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, Maryland 21208. Tickets for this event go on sale in the spring of 2013.
