Opened on January 31 2012, Closing Circle has been building up an exclusive community of Financial Investors, with a combined investment capacity amounting to several tens of billions of euros, and is now inviting Corporate Investors, which will be a significant addition to the Circle.
‘Our objective,’ says David Chouraqui, founder and CEO of Closing Circle, ‘is to bring together strategic and financial Investors to facilitate connections and dealmaking. Corporates are instrumental in M&A, growing through build up acquisitions or disposing of non-core assets. Many are keen to be part of the M&A community. On the other hand, private equity and venture capital firms are eager to connect with firms that can provide them with new investment opportunities and can be an obvious exit for their investments. ’
Corporate members will be joining a community that already connects the following categories of firms and professionals:
- Direct Investors: private equity, venture capital and family offices
- Indirect Investors: institutional investors, funds of funds
- Financial Advisors: M&A Advisors, fund placement firms and major stock exchanges
- Lenders: Bank debt providers
Corporate members will be granted a discreet access to the platform and will be visible to the members they message or invite to connect on Closing Circle. They will be able to find resources and partners among investors, lenders, advisors and consultants and connect with them.

Following his studies, David was hired by international private equity firm, The Gores Group in their newly established London office. While at Gores, David found it took several years for the company to develop their M&A network and close significant deals in Europe.
Knowing networking was a key factor for successfully closing deals and passionate about web technologies and social networks, he left Gores in 2010 to create Closing Circle.
