Nov. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Grand Estates Auction Company, the industry leader for luxury real estate auctions, is launching a Luxury Auction Specialist Program and has hired real estate industry veteran Joshua Drown as vice president of marketing and operations to lead the program while managing the company’s brand across all media platforms and increasing market share.  Grand Estates Auction Company conducted a nationwide search for the newly created position, culminating in Drown joining the team in October.

A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, Drown brings 12 years of luxury real estate experience to the position.  He relocated to Charlotte, N.C. from West Palm Beach, Fla. where he was most recently director of advertising and marketing for The Corcoran Group, one of the top luxury real estate brokerages in the country.  Prior to working at The Corcoran Group, Drown served as director of media operations for the Palm Beach, Fla. firm McCann Conyer Clarke.

“Through the Luxury Auction Specialist Program, Grand Estates will enhance the traditional offerings of luxury realtors by providing our suite of auction services to select properties,” stated Joshua Drown, Grand Estates Auction Company vice president of marketing and operations. “Certain homes benefit from the intensive marketing and air of excitement a luxury auction brings.”

Drown is well versed in various techniques for marketing and selling luxury properties.  His track record, including managing the marketing for a region that achieved sales volume of up to $850 million annually, peaking at $1.4 billion for the combined period of 2010 and 2011, prove that he can effectively utilize those techniques to achieve top dollar in any market conditions.  In fact, during Drown’s tenure, The Corcoran Group was able to consistently achieve top market share, best list price to sales price ratio, and fewest days on the market compared to direct competition.

“Joshua’s extensive experience growing a leading luxury real estate brokerage will be a tremendous asset in the newly created position of vice president of marketing and operations,” said Stacy Kirk Reich, president of Grand Estates Auction Company.  “We developed this position, in part, so that Grand Estates could more closely partner with our network of luxury auction specialists to enhance their offerings, creating the opportunity for high-profile, quick-turnaround sales through auction and absolute auction.  Joshua’s leadership, experience and enthusiasm are a perfect match.”

Grand Estates Auction Company is the most experienced and successful luxury auction provider, with an impressive track record of selling more than 90% of homes on auction day, at times exceeding comparable traditionally negotiated sales prices.  They specialize in attracting queries from hundreds of potential buyers from across the globe to find the right group of often 10 or more qualified, interested bidders for auction day.

Grand Estates Auction Company is the leader in the niche market of auctioning luxury real estate, specializing in properties valued at $1.5 million and above throughout North America and the Caribbean. Established in 1999, the family-owned company was the first of its kind. The company is based in Charlotte, N.C. with offices in Atlanta, Dallas, La Jolla, Ca., Naples, Fla. and Vail, Colo.
