Motivation Monday ~ Election Day 2012 ~ DO NOT REELECT ANYONE!

Here we are.  After 3 plus years of campaigning, we finally get to pull the lever and decide who should be President of The United States of America for the next 4 years.

Over the past several months leading up to this election, I have written a series of articles stating why President Obama should not be President.  However, I have also stated, that “the system” is broken!  Is that President Obama’s fault?  No.  He has benefited from the “system” being broken and he may well benefit from it again.

When you look at a map of our country, the red and blue version, which is projecting “winners and losers” already and projecting that the politicians “know” or are taking for granted which states will vote which way, it makes me sick.  It makes me sick, that the “politicians” and actually the “political machines” behind them have narrowed the election down to a few counties in America.

I have some friends in New York that have decided not to vote or they don’t care to vote, because “their vote doesn’t mean anything.  “Obama and the Democrats control New York regardless if I vote or not.”  That is NOT the voice of a democracy!

I have written that in spite of my disagreements with President Obama, I don’t think that it’s just him that needs to be removed from the controls, but we need “real change” in America.  Our political system needs to be thrown on its ear!  To do that, I have suggested to friends and colleagues and anyone that will listen, that we should NOT reelect ANYONE!  That’s right, “We the People,” can enforce our power over the electoral system by sending the message very clearly to BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES to clean up their partisan acts by NOT reelecting one politician!  From the “Town Dog Catcher” to President of The United States !

If you read this Motivation Monday© column, I just want you to think.  What would happen if we literally did NOT reelect one politician?  What message would that send?  How many legislative bodies would change overnight?  How would the media adapt to actually not “knowing” what we’re going to do?  How would it impact all the media that can’t wait to project winners and losers before the 6:00 News?

My  fellow Americans.  Our system of government is broken.  The leader of that government, President Obama has not lead change, but has created one of the most divisive governments ever!  And it has spread to us the people.  We have become more and more polarized and divisive.  We don’t need a “Divider-in-Chief” or “Entertainer-in-Chief.”  America needs a LEADER!  A Commander-in-Chief!   Is that Mitt Romney?  Frankly, I don’t know, but we won’t know until he gets in there.  What we do know is that past results and behaviors are the best indicator of future results.  The past behaviors of President Barrack Hussein Obama have shown that he is not a leader, but a divider.  Mitt Romney’s past performance and behavior shows only a man of integrity and character that has been successful at almost everything he has done.

So.  This week’s Motivation Monday© I ask you to consider two things.

First.  Elect Mitt Romney President.  

Second. Consider NOT reelecting ANY politician in your community.

In New York, on Long Island, our media is pretty liberal for a lot of reasons.  If you don’t take a liberal stance on social issues people won’t buy your newspaper or watch you news programs.  Our local newspapers tend to be pretty left of center, but even our local newspaper, Newsday, has endorsed Mitt Romney for President.   Here is their endorsement:  http://www.newsday.com/opinion/editorial-elect-mitt-romney-president-of-the-united-states-1.4182689

Friends.  In the end.  Regardless of your position or politics.  Get out to vote.  Men and Women have given their lives fighting for our right to vote.  Please respect their sacrifice at the very least.
