Designers’ Collection Opens New Trade Showroom

Nov. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- The aim of Designers’ Collection is to share with their customers their latest home which they would like to be seen as a “home away from home.”  The company also believes that interior designers and architects will enjoy easy access to their website and when coupled with the new trade showroom will be a great resource for wholesale trade and their clients.

Seeing a gap in the market, Designers’ Collection collaborated with Sheree Davies and Sonya Markham of Sensational Floors to offer this extended range of services and products in the new showroom, giving them an opportunity to enhance the presentation of product ranges.

This collaboration came together over a period of two to three years as Rod explains:  “Sonya and I met at a customer Xmas function and have fostered a relationship based on similar values, career and family backgrounds and similar business philosophies.  When the opportunity arose to take tenancy of this wonderful space, it was a ‘no-brainer’ for us to join forces and offer our customers a greater service and selection under one roof.”

Sonya Markham welcomed everyone to ‘your other office’ by saying,  “We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.  There is a resource library of books, magazines, paint colours, fabrics and hard flooring finishes making it easier for you to demonstrate and work with your clients while you are here.”

To fulfil the mission of Designers’ Collection, they have continued developing their legacy by means of continuous improvement of their designs and with the addition of complimentary designers like Neal Smith who was a tenant in Foundation Precinct back in the early days, Colin Foggo from Belle Interiors in Christchurch and John Wray who has been designing light projects for over twenty years, they are indeed an impressive company.

The new trade showroom is a very stylish comfortable environment to be part of and includes a room setting to enable clients to visualize their dream home inspired by the beautiful and extraordinary personalised furniture and surroundings.

The new trade showroom of Designers’ Collection is open to all interior designers and architects or anyone of similar trade looking for fresh and innovative concepts about designing a home with the use of high quality furniture to enhance their interiors.
