Jordan Hosts the 32nd International Academy of Pathology Conference in 2018 at Hilton KHBTCC

The International Academy of Pathology recently selected Jordan, and King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center managed by Hilton, (“KHBTCC”) as the destination for its 32nd International Academy of Pathology Conference scheduled for 2018.

Nov. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- The International Academy of Pathology recently selected Jordan, and King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center managed by Hilton, (“KHBTCC”) as the destination for its 32nd International Academy of Pathology Conference scheduled for 2018.

Dr. Ismail Matalka, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and the President Elect of the Arab Division of the International Academy of Pathology, represented Jordan at this year’s conference and successfully pitched for the 2018 conference, which is expected to attract around 5000 international delegates.

Matalka praised the professional collaborative efforts of Jordan Tourism Board and KHBTCC who have worked in partnership for many months to prepare a proposal capable of attracting and securing such a major worldwide event.

Dr. Abdel Razzaq Arabiyat, Managing Director of Jordan Tourism Board, stated that this conference will not only place Jordan as a first choice MICE destination with international audiences but is also likely to have a major impact on the local economy.

“This victory is only the beginning. I am confident that the joint efforts, persuasive proposals and KHBTCC’s experience in delivering high profile international conferences will definitely help us attract many more major events and conferences to Jordan”, commented Dr. Arabiyat.

His Excellency Senator Aqel Biltaji joined Dr. Matalka during the conference, which was held in South Africa, and was delighted that Jordan will host yet another major international conference. His Excellency gave an inviting speech highlighting Jordan’s historical background, advanced infrastructure, moderate climate and the high standards of services.
