Eye of the Pacific:BenevolenceInc.com’s November Non-Profit Organization of the Month

Nov. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- BenevolenceInc.com has announced that Eye of the Pacific Guide Dogs Foundation will be the online retailer’s November Non-Profit Organization of the Month.  During the entire month of November, at least 50% of profits made by BenevolenceInc.com will be donated to Eye of the Pacific Guide Dogs Foundation (www.EyeOfThePacific.org).  

The Eye of the Pacific Guide Dogs Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to provide quality guide dogs, electronic mobility aids, and other services to legally blind residents of the State of Hawaii and neighboring US territories.  With these aids, the Eye of the Pacific hopes to empower the legally blind to lead safe, independent, and meaningful lives.  Additionally, the organization hopes to educate the general public on laws and etiquette relating to guide dog accessibility.  

The Eye of the Pacific has four core values: integrity, respect, stewardship, and commitment.  The non-profit strives to “always do right” and promises to “take personal responsibility for our actions”.  The organization also hopes to create environments of trust, respect, empowerment and support, and commits itself to achieving excellence and success within the community.  

“We chose the Eye of the Pacific to be this month’s Non-Profit because we realize there are many living in the US that could use additional assistance,” says Kelsie Ozeki, Director of BenevolenceInc.com.  Informational flyers will be included with every order and information can also be found on the “Non-Profit of the Month” page on BenevolenceInc.com.  

Each women’s apparel and beauty product listed on BenevolenceInc.com features a description that informs customers of exactly how much of their money will be donated to the Eye of the Pacific during the month of November.  Donation amounts range from $0.50 for sale items with prices starting at $3.00 to a donation amount of $2.00 for regular priced items starting at $11.00.
