Demme, a sophamore at the John Cooper School and Girl Scout Gold Award earner requests your sponsorship or donation in the walk and festival. As a sponsor you will get a large amount of free promotion for your business throughout the community on all the promotional materials that are put out, and a booth to promote your business at the event. Houston , Texas is one of the number one spots for Human Trafficking, a violation of the basic human right of No Slavery.This is just one of the violations and abuses that we witness here on a daily basis. Many people here and around the world, are unaware of their 30 Human Rights. It is clear when Human Rights abuses are occuring and the call for everyone to to take stand in this effort to put a stop to these injustices now forever. This year our target is 2000 signitures on the Human Rights petition requesting governments to actually implement the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights. "I am excited about this initiative Demme has acted upon" ,The Reverend shouted. Reverend Marshall assisted with raising $5000 for heart transplant applicant Sherman Broussard in "Teen Hero Needs Help" September 27,2001, The Conroe Courier by Nancy Flake. His last activist work was for his own son, Carl Marshall Jr when He was threatend to be lynched on the School bus in "School bus Threat"Conroe Courier October 23, 2006(Quannel X Leads Protest).
