Drag Racing 1.5: Major Update of the World´s Most Popular Racing Game for Android

Drag Racing 1.5 invites all petrolheads to plunge into the world of racing and tuning, where anyone can choose from more than 60 cars, upgrade them and take part in 1/2 and 1/4 mile races. The variety of options is rich enough to satisfy all kinds of racers: the player can compete with AI in offline races, take part in online head-to-head races (either with a friend or a random competitor) or real-time Pro races against 9 players at once. It is also possible to team with other racers in order to share achievements, work out a strategy and exchange tunes.

As compared with the previous version, Drag Racing 1.5 features better controls and visuals, 10 more cars (including SSC Tuatara and Saleen S5S) and new achievements. The game is surprisingly realistic: there are a lot of details that affect a car´s performance. If the player wants to win the race, he should find the right balance between power and grip. Nitrous oxide is a great power booster, but it works best if the button us pushed at a well-chosen moment. Gear ratios can be adjusted to make the car´s performance a little bit better, because sometimes even milliseconds matter!

In 2012 Drag Racing has become Webby Awards Official Honoree. The game counts 70 million downloads and one million enthusiastic fans on Facebook, who exchange tips and tricks and hold informal competitions.
