Aries Apparel Selected to Participate in American Express “Small Business Saturday”

Nov. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Local small business retail success story, Aries Apparel, who sells only women’s specialty athletic apparel and gear, will be a highlighted participant in the 3rd annual “Small Business Saturday” national radio campaign spotlighting small business, which was launched last year by American Express.  This year’s event will take place on Saturday November 24th, 2012.

In 2011, 100 million people came together to shop in their communities supporting local small businesses.  The concept behind the movement is to highlight the importance of small businesses and what they bring to the economy.  Local stores like Aries Apparel create local jobs for the Oregon economy as well as boosting the economy and preserve their local neighborhoods.  Small businesses have generated two out of every three net new jobs over the past 15 years and employ over half of all private sector employees.

American Express has launched a radio campaign on many area radio stations in the Portland area and Marsden will be featured in a portion of the advertisements.
