Westchester Magazine’s American Dream Home 2012 Unveiled!

On Thursday, October 18, 2012, Westchester Magazine held a ribbon cutting ceremony and VIP cocktail party to kick off the American Dream Home 2012 at Hudson Harbor in Tarrytown, NY.

Nov. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Rye, NY, November 1, 2012 – On Thursday, October 18, 2012, Westchester Magazine held a ribbon cutting ceremony and VIP cocktail party to kick off the American Dream Home 2012 at Hudson Harbor in Tarrytown, NY.  The ribbon cutting took place at 5:30PM and was followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, provided by Marc Charles Steakhouse and Opus 365. The American Dream Home 2012 includes four weeks of house tours, an exclusive pop up shop and special events to benefit Historic Hudson Valley.

Many of the VIP guests included sponsors of the American Dream Home 2012. Interior designers from Ethan Allen-Hartsdale brought their talents to bear in the upstairs Master Bedroom, designing and furnishing this beautiful spacious room with choice pieces, fabrications, rugs, artwork, and accessories from the company’s prized collections. Ethan Allen-Hartsdale also provided outdoor furniture for the upstairs Terrace.

“The Ethan Allen-Hartsdale team has crafted a design solution that combines its well regarded made-in-America furnishings with a livable, modern design perspective, producing a space that is both stimulating and comforting,” said Design Center Manager Amani Thorpe-Lee.

Open house tours of Westchester Magazine’s American Dream Home will take place every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through November 11th. The American Dream Home is also an exclusive pop-up shop where guests can purchase items, many of which are not available in retail locations.
