CORAL GABLES, FL – Oct. 29, 2012 – Craig D. Linder, a veteran of various large international law firms, has joined Coral Gables-based Rasco, Klock, Reininger, Perez, Esquenazi, Vigil & Nieto, as Special Counsel, where he will head the Firm’s securities law practice as he joins his corporate, securities and finance practice with the corporate team at the Coral Gables-based boutique law firm.
Ramón Rasco, firm co-founder and chair, stated, "Because of his many years of practice experience in the areas of securities law and sophisticated corporate transactions, Craig brings a very significant dimension to our corporate practice. His knowledge of the marketplace and his work with the most sophisticated client base and state-of-the art corporate and securities solutions enhances and broadens the firm’s corporate practice."
Linder, who rejoins former colleagues from larger firms in South Florida, commented, “Rasco Klock presents a unique opportunity to provide high quality legal services at reasonable prices to a wide variety of clients. As a starter, the five senior lawyers collectively have more than 125 years of experience handling complex legal matters, and all share the common philosophy that without the overhead and distractions of a large law firm, we can provide cost-effective, personalized service increasingly rare to clients at large law firms. I am delighted to rejoin and to again work side-by-side with my former colleagues, Joe Klock, Janet Munn, Gabe Nieto, J.C. Antorcha, Jack Shawde and John Eaton. I am well aware of their and my other new colleagues’ extraordinary capabilities and understand the value of a great talent pool in the framework of a streamlined, efficient practice.”
Joe Klock, firm partner and former chair of Steel Hector & Davis LLP, added, “Craig is unique in terms of ability, experience, resourcefulness, and ingenuity. In today’s world, many corporate needs require the sophisticated hand of a top securities lawyer like Craig. We are very fortunate to be able to again have his broad range of experience and talent available to our corporate team and for our clients.”
Prior to joining the firm, Linder worked as a corporate, securities and finance partner for 6 years, and as a corporate securities associate for 5 years, at various large international law firms such as Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P., Steel Hector & Davis LLP (which merged with Squire Sanders in 2005), and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. He has assisted clients in closing more than US$11 billion in private and public debt, equity, convertible and complex hybrid security offerings.
