Nissan Leaf Owners Soon To Be Eligible for Wireless Chargers | AutoCenters Nissan

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 1, 2012 - WOOD RIVER, ILL.— Owners of the Nissan Leaf electric vehicle may soon find that recharging is a little bit easier. Nissan recently announced that Leaf owner will soon be eligible for Plugless Power wireless electric vehicle chargers.

Evatran, the maker of the wireless vehicle chargers, reached an agreement with SPX Service Solutions to distribute the stations. Next April, SPX will begin installations at the homes of Nissan Leaf owners. Each station will cost between $3,500 and $4,000. The cost will cover the system’s on-board receiver and  garage-floor transmitter as well as garage installation.
