Business is alive and Well in Southeast Florida

As one of Florida’s most diverse and densely populated regions, the Southeast offers plenty of business advantages

Nov. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- As one of Florida’s most diverse and densely populated regions, the Southeast offers plenty of business advantages — exceptional international connectivity, a multicultural workforce and a quality of life that is difficult to match.

In this seven-county region, the issue isn’t finding an ideal site for expansion; it’s narrowing the choices down to just one.

Consider, for example, the “tricounty” area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach: each has an international airport and a deep-water port, each could rightly claim the title “Gateway to Latin America.”

Here and elsewhere across the region, companies engaged in such varied industries as global commerce, life sciences and renewable energy are thriving, and progressive educational institutions are launching new curricula to supply the workers they require.

And as if this cake needed further decoration, there’s tourism too. From Miami to the Florida Keys, hotel occupancy is up, and cosmopolitan communities are only too happy to show off their attributes to visitors and residents alike.

Southeast Florida is also a great place to work, but don’t just take our word for it; ask the employees themselves.

In a recent survey about career opportunities and workplace satisfaction by online career site CareerBliss.com, Miami topped the list of “Happiest Cities for Work,” and Fort Lauderdale ranked No. 2 on “Cities with the Happiest Young Professionals.”

Key Largo Florida, Nov 2nd 2012, Key Largo’s top Producing Realtor Sally Stribling remarked, "The business expansion in Southeast Florida is really great to see" . Basically, From Fort Lauderdale to Key West business is expanding and offers tremendous opportunities for companies looking to relocate here.

When asked how this would possibly benefit the Upper Keys Real Estate market, Sally remarked, “Increased business in Southeast Florida means more employment, which translates to an increase in housing needs. And since Ft Lauderdale and Miami are just a short drive away, this means that in the long run property values will increase here, raising property owners equity or net worth.

Then there is another important benefit, which is that more people living in the Miami, Ft Lauderdale area means more people visiting the Keys. This always results in people falling in love with it here and either vacationing or buying 2nd homes or places to retire.
