Nov. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- On November 14, 2012, Atlanta is invited to come out to The Weave Boutique at 454 Flat Shoals Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30316 from 6:00PM-9:30PM to support a couple of good causes such as women in transition as well as children's literacy. The purpose of Networking For a Cause is to gather and mingle while collecting books and food for charity.

Since 2010, The Weave Boutique and Enjoy Yourself Events have been hosting this event which brings local business owners and executives to one place to give back to the community while enjoying complimentary food, beverages, pampering services and door prizes all sponsored thanks to the generosity of the event sponsors. This year we are honored to partner with Cascade House - YWCA Greater Atlanta and Everybody Wins! Atlanta, both who will benefit from the items collected during the event. YWCA's Women In Transition program assists women and children as they rebuild their lives and transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Everybody Wins! is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting children's literacy through programs designed to improve the reading skills of students in low-income public schools.

Guests who have attended over the previous years have donated everything from Thanksgiving-type canned goods, warm winter accessories such as hats and gloves as well as new and used shoes. Items were donated to Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless and 40 Girls and Some Shoes.

There is no admission fee though we request that guests donate Thanksgiving-type, non-perishable goods such as green beans, corn, yams, gravy, cranberry sauce, fruit cocktail and apple juice.
